Flowers

Some flowers are more intricate than others but they all do one thing for me; bring me immense amounts of joy.  It doesn’t matter if I am on a hike, vacation or just going to the grocery store, if I see a flower then I have to stop and take a picture and admire something that will only be around a short time.

There are not enough words to describe what an amazing place the Petrified Forest National Park is.  You will just have to experience it in person to really take in all its beauty.  Located just off the 40 freeway near Holbrook, AZ, it has everything from 225 million year old petrified trees, blue mesa’s and painted hills.  Truly a one-of-a-kind place.  Here are some pictures from my adventure there last weekend.

Taking Breaks
